My wife and I were discussing what makes Marta so alluring. I think it's primarily her eyes. Remember Susanna Hoffs in the "Walks like an Egyptian" video? The world went batshit crazy over the way she slid her eyes sideways, and it turned that song into a #1 hit, making their career. Well, watch Marta's eyes. She never looks at the camera, she always looks to the side. At times she smiles a small private smile, making the viewer wonder what she's thinking. Is she smiling because the whole idea of having the entire world watch you while you play along to a pop song is kind of silly? Is she smiling because she's just enjoying the groove?
